How do I use the online Production Status service?
As an Acme customer, you are assigned a customer number and a security password for this system. By entering this information, you are linked directly to Acme's internal work reporting system. You can check the status of any or all parts.
You can access the Acme Production Status information service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What if I don't know or forget my customer number and password?
Contact your Acme Program Manager to replace this information. Keep it in a secure place for easy reference in the future.
What kind of information can I obtain about my order?
The information you will see represents the latest reporting from Acme work centers. Therefore, you will be able to see current information about your order at every stage - Tooling Status, Work-in-Process, Shipping Status, Inventory, and Invoicing.
You can check the progress of your custom tool order; see how many lots of parts are at what stage of production; and review inventory and shipping history. You can also download invoices.
How can I be sure this information is secure?
Access to your order information is password protected. The only way to view it is to enter the correct customer number and password. If you don't memorize your customer number and password, keep them in secure place.
What if I have a question about my order or need to expedite the schedule?
The online component of the Production Status service is viewable only. Contact your Acme Program Manager if you have a question or for information about schedule changes. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs.
